As easier as it seems, Comedy is a difficult nut to crack. To tickle the funny bones takes a hell lot of skills to master. Besides, it’s one of the most loved genres that literally takes you away from all the stress and anxiety of the daily life. Today, we take a look at some of the most memorable Bollywood comedy films, whose memory is enough to leave us with a bright smile on our face.

  1. HERA PHERI (2000) – It is a splendid Comedy movie directed by Priyadarshan starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu.  By the looks of it, you feel as if it’s going to be a really serious movie but it turns out to be one roller –coaster ride of laughing. The trio of Akshay, Sunil and Paresh has got into their roles so well that you can just watch their story unfold for eternity without breaking a sweat. In other words, this movie is a full package of entertainment, comedy, drama and the humorous ‘’Baburao” dialogues, give are just too good.
  • WELCOME (2007)

Welcome is one of those laughter riots that you can watch over and over again with similar interest. There are a number of comic sequences in the movie which will ensure that you laugh until your stomach starts aching and may be even afterwards as such is the nature of this epic comedy movie. The best part of the movie comes towards the climax after Katrina accidently shots the son of Feroz Khan. The chase and the play with the dead body afterwards are just too hilarious.

  • SINGH IS KINNG (2008)

It is an action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee in which Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are in lead roles. Balle Balle, te shava shava , oye  chak de phatte are some uttering’s that you will hear loud and clear throughout the movie. This film can be called a king sized entertainer movie. It offers lots of big laughs, some action sequences, a little drama and lots of romance. And last but not the least it has the biggest entertainer of Bollywood Akshay Kumar who is the daddy of entertainment along with other co-stars who have performed brilliantly altogether in the movie. This movie is rich of marvelous comedy scenes and there’s a crazy atmosphere that never ceases. This movie has got so many hysterically funny scenes and innuendoes that no contemporary Bollywood movie can beat.

  • GOLMAAL (2006)

It is a Bollywood comedy drama film helmed by Rohit Shetty. What works for Gomaal is that Rohit Shetty keeps the gags coming and it keeps making us laugh time and again. The fun quota is consistently maintained in this film. When you come across a tagline that states “fun unlimited” you expect lots of fun and entertainment and this epic comedy perfectly fits the bill as it giggles your funny bones throughout. The likes of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, and Tusshar Kapoor have done a commendable job in this film not to forget the acts of Sanjay Mishra and Siddharth Jadhav, which makes amuse us more than even the main cast at times.

  • 3 IDIOTS  (2009)

It is an Indian coming of age comedy drama film co written, edited and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It was inspired by the novel Five Point Someone of Chetan Bhagat. This brilliant movie is a comedy of ideas that is provocative as funny, as wildly entertaining as insightful, a laugh riot that will talk about the most important of human pursuits. One of the epic hilarious scenes of this movie is the Chamatkari urf Balatkari speech of Chatur aka Silencer where Rancho has made some funny exchange of words.
