Prime minister Narendra Modi and Joe Biden discussed on various issues related to the betterment of both economies during a phone call on Monday. Talks between the two strong leaders included many essential points such as commitment towards rules- based international orders, mutual cooperation to eradicate covid -19 pandemic, move against climate change , regional issues. They want to build the global economy in such a way that would benefit both countries said by the white House.
One of the main vision for both the countries is to promote a free and open indo- Pacific region that will allow freedom of navigation, teritorial integrity and a strong regional architecture in that area. Mutual Cooperation between the two countries on diverse issues will take the bilateral relationship between them on a next level.
Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th president of America. After taking his position as the president, he has talked to 9 foreign leaders till now.
The white house asserted that, “The President underscored his desire to defend democratic institutions and norms around the world and noted that a shared commitment to democratic values is the bedrock for the US-India relationship,” It added that the two leaders resolved that the rule of law and the democratic process must be upheld in Burma (now Myanmar).
Biden and Modi agreed to stay in close touch on a range of global challenges and look forward to what the United States and India will achieve together for their people and for their nations, the white House said.

Talks between the two foreign leaders is a positive sign for a good relationship between the two countries where they would work together against several issues.
